Job summary

Maple Lodge Farms in Canada, the country's largest poultry processor, is seeking a Senior Sales Account Manager. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be the main contact for assigned accounts and collaborate with internal departments to drive growth and long-term success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' account management experience in the food industry; preferably CPG.
  • Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential.
  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma an asset

Responsibilities

  • Manage the CPG business for a key account, fostering strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships with buying teams to support mutual business growth and long-term success.
  • Ensure clear and concise written and oral communications with internal and external customers to support timely execution of selling objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with our customer's buying team to ensure strong partnerships.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of all aspects of the business including store level activity, opportunities, consumer trends, customer focus, strategy and execution.
  • Complete and/or coordinate the planning, preparation and execution of business plans and sales budgets.
  • Track Trade Merchandising Allowance to maximize sales.
  • Grow sales and gross profit dollars and % while maintaining a strong and profitable sales mix that aligns with best sale strategies - manage customer selling prices on an ongoing basis.
  • Developing new business opportunities and execute appropriate strategy where required.
  • Operate with integrity and professionalism, striving to act in the best of interests of both MLF and the customer while providing superior service.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of improved department specific processes, policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Senior Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the management of assigned accounts by operating as the main point of contact for customers and our internal departments.

This is an existing position in the company.

What you will be doing:
