Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, with hands-on Rust
• Deep understanding of Rust concepts (ownership, borrow checker, lifetimes, traits, macros)
• Experience with systems programming, multithreading and performance-critical apps
• Hands-on async Rust experience, e.g., Tokio
• Comfortable with Rust toolchain and modern Git workflows/CI/CD pipelines
• Proven experience designing scalable backend services and distributed systems
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, memory-safe backend services and distributed systems in Rust.
• Write high-performance, concurrent code with strong systems programming principles.
• Build and maintain asynchronous services using frameworks such as Tokio.
• Apply core Rust concepts to write robust, idiomatic code.
• Act as a technical leader, guiding architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production challenges.
• Contribute to best practices, tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain modern Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
