Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with Rust.
• Deep understanding of Rust ownership, borrow checker, lifetimes, traits, macros.
• Experience with systems programming, multithreading and performance-critical apps.
• Asynchronous programming in Rust using Tokio.
• Proficient in Cargo, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing scalable backend services and distributed systems.
• Excellent English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, memory-safe backend services in Rust.
• Write high-performance, concurrent code.
• Build asynchronous services using Tokio and async/await.
• Apply Rust ownership, borrows, lifetimes, traits, macros.
• Provide technical leadership and guide architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot production systems and fix complex issues.
• Contribute to tooling, best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
