Job summary

Kake is a remote-first company with a people-first global community of senior engineers. We’re seeking Senior QA Engineers to own quality end-to-end, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to ship reliable software for a worldwide audience.

You will design test strategies, execute plans, and contribute to automated test frameworks, ensuring high-performance, scalable systems across web, API, and backend services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Strong experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, mobile apps, and backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Perform manual testing to identify functional, integration, usability, and edge-case issues.
• Create, maintain, and improve automated test suites and testing frameworks.
• Test web applications, APIs, and backend services for functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers on solutions.
