Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in rock mechanics across underground and open pit mining environments.
• P.Eng. in Canada or eligible for registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead rock mechanics analysis and design for underground and open pit mining projects across Canada.
• Design and evaluate excavation stability, including stopes, shafts, drifts, and slopes.
• Deliver advanced geomechanical analyses using numerical modelling and limit equilibrium methods.
• Oversee geotechnical investigation programs, structural geology assessments, and data interpretation.
• Guide project delivery by developing scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across multidisciplinary teams.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on geomechanical risks.
• Contribute to technical innovation and industry-leading standards.
