Job summary
4AG Robotics in Canada is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to tackle perception, control, and autonomy on real mushroom-harvesting robots. You will work across the stack, from depth-camera based detection to gripper control, ensuring reliable operation in field deployments.
This role offers remote work within Canada, with preference for Ontario and potential relocation to Salmon Arm, BC. You will collaborate with customers worldwide, travel occasionally to testing sites, and help
Qualifications
- Experience interfacing with sensors and motor drives.
- Ability to coordinate multiple autonomous systems and debug complex hardware setups.
- Familiarity with perception and/or control feature development for robotic systems.
- Comfort with ROS2 and modern robotics tools.
Responsibilities
- Improve detection on the bed using depth camera systems.
- Develop control and autonomy features for mushroom-harvesting robots.
- Collaborate with data teams to measure performance and build operator interfaces.
- Support field deployments across multiple sites worldwide and remote diagnose systems.
