ATB Financial in Calgary seeks a FLOD risk and internal controls expert within CCM to lead risk identification, assessment and treatment strategies. You will report to the MD of BERA and build strong partnerships with CCM leaders to manage risk and escalation.

You will influence leaders, drive risk reporting to senior leadership, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls across trading and non-trading activities.

Formación

• 5+ years experience in a Financial Institution with a focus on Capital Markets
• FRM or equivalent designation considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of Canadian securities laws and CIRO
• Understanding of US regulatory regime including FINRA and SEC
• Experience interpreting regulatory guidelines and risk reporting

Responsabilidades

• Lead risk identification, assessment, treatment and monitoring activities
• Support maintenance and certification of the RCSA program
• Coordinate regulatory compliance matrices and assurance reviews
• Facilitate discussions with internal partners to review controls and remediation
• Provide risk governance for new products, services and systems deployments
• Collaborate with FICC, Capital Markets and 2nd line to monitor risk
• Contribute to BCM program and business continuity planning
• Oversee third-party risk relationships and SOC reporting
• Deliver KRIs and KPI reporting to leadership
• Lead root-cause investigations of operational risks
