Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Risk Manager in Edmonton or Calgary to shape and embed risk management frameworks across operating companies. You will influence decisions from pursuit through project execution, guiding risk appetite, governance, and strategic objectives.

You will lead risk methodology improvements, develop dashboards and predictive reporting, and mentor the Risk Analyst while partnering with executives and brokers to strengthen the risk culture and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• CIP, CRM, CPA or significant progress toward completion.
• Minimum 8 years in enterprise risk, project risk, insurance, or commercial management in construction or capital-intensive industries.
• Minimum 8 years leading cross-functional risk reviews and enterprise risk processes.
• Minimum 5 years advising senior executives and influencing strategic decisions.
• Strong ability to collaborate with senior leaders using expert risk insight and advisory capability.
• Analytical and conceptual thinker; experience in risk quantification and scenario analysis; Power BI is a plus.
• Deep expertise in contract risk allocation, insurance program structures, and construction lifecycle risks.

Responsibilities

• Leads evolution of enterprise and project risk frameworks integrated into decision-making.
• Shapes enterprise risk tolerance guidance for major pursuits and contracts.
• Acts as strategic risk partner across the project lifecycle with operating companies.
• Oversees risk assessments, scenario analyses, and mitigation modeling.
• Represents Risk Management in governance forums and surfaces emerging risks.
• Leads annual insurance renewal and risk financing strategy activities.
• Develops enterprise risk intelligence from claims, analytics, and insights.
• Strengthens measurement tools, dashboards, and leading indicators; mentors the Risk Analyst.
