Placements24 is seeking a Senior RF Network Engineer for our client in Kimberley, Canada. The role focuses on design, optimization and performance management of radio frequency networks to ensure robust mobile service.

You will analyze network data, identify improvements, and implement solutions to enhance coverage and capacity. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in RF design/optimization, expertise in 2G/3G/4G/5G, and hands-on experience with RF planning tools such as Planet and Atoll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of RF network design, planning, and optimization for mobile networks.
• In-depth knowledge of RF propagation, antenna theory, and mobile network technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G).
• Proficiency with RF planning tools Planet, Atoll and drive testing tools.

Responsibilities

About the Role

This role is critical for the design, optimization, and performance management of radio frequency networks, ensuring robust and reliable mobile communication services. You will be responsible for analyzing network performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance coverage, capacity, and quality of service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RF principles, propagation models, and mobile network technologies, contributing to the advancement of our telecom infrastructure .

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize RF network parameters to ensure optimal coverage and capacity.
• Perform drive tests and analyze RF data to identify network issues and areas for improvement.
