Job summary

Acuren is seeking an experienced Revenue Coordinator to join its Finance team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This senior role manages complex, high-volume billing portfolios, ensures invoices, costing reports, and supporting documentation align with client contracts and billing requirements.

You will prepare and review billing outputs, interpret contract terms, support month-end close, and drive process improvements while mentoring colleagues in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• CPA progress is considered an asset.
• Five or more years of progressive billing, finance, accounting, or revenue coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain client costing reports and other billing-related reporting.
• Independently manage complex or high-volume billing portfolios.
• Interpret and apply client contract terms, including non-routine billing scenarios.
• Prepare, review, and validate billing outputs for accuracy and completeness prior to issuance.
• Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies with internal teams and clients.
• Complete daily and weekly timesheet reviews to ensure payroll and invoicing compliance.
• Resolve employee pay issues and errors, escalating as required.
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Provide informal guidance and support to less experienced team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and support implementation efforts.
• Ensure billing activities are completed in accordance with internal controls, billing standards, and client requirements.
