Job summary

Chard is a BC-based real estate company leading a growing portfolio across Metro Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Greater Victoria. We are seeking a Senior Retail Property Manager to oversee our retail portfolio, managing tenant relations, operations, and financial performance across stabilized and new properties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive retail, commercial, or mixed‑use property management experience.
• Strong knowledge of operating budgets, CAM, and financial reporting.
• Experience with lease administration, renewals, and tenant relations.
• Familiarity with asset management principles and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational contact for retail tenants, managing service requests and lease compliance.
• Balance tenant service with lease obligations and ownership objectives.
• Lead CAM budgets, forecasts, recoveries, and annual reconciliations.
• Manage lease renewals and support leasing activity with tenant analysis and risk assessment.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Development, Construction, Leasing, Legal, Accounting, PM).
• Identify capital needs and coordinate approved projects through implementation and close‑out.
