Job summary

Chard Development Ltd. is seeking a CapEx Manager to lead planning, budgeting, execution and reporting of capital projects across our growing Vancouver-area portfolio.

You’ll work with Property Management, Asset Management, Development, and Finance to bring structure and rigor to capital work, from annual cycles through on-the-ground execution. This 12-month fixed-term contract focuses on stabilizing properties, delivering multi-year plans for ownership and lender review, and coordinating with

Qualifications

• Experience managing capital projects or budgets in multi-property real estate.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, MEP drawings and translate to actionable plans.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, life-safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and multi-year capital budgets across the portfolio.
• Coordinate with Property Management, Asset Management, Development, and Finance.
• Source, evaluate, and manage contractors and vendors for capital projects.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and change orders; ensure on-time delivery.
