The Population Health and Prevention Unit is seeking a Senior Research Associate (SRA) to lead development and analysis of population health and chronic disease prevention indicators, review complex data, and develop reports and dashboards. The SRA will produce high-quality epidemiological analyses to support quality improvement, performance measurement, and evidence-based decision-making, aiming to improve patient outcomes and health system equity.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Develop analytical plans, review literature, and identify data sources.
  2. Perform data analysis using SAS, verify data quality, interpret findings, and document methods.
  3. Provide expert insights into population health data.
  4. Draft reports with findings and recommendations.
  5. Present analyses to stakeholders.
  6. Enhance analytic tools and processes.
  7. Identify operational risks and suggest solutions.
  8. Coordinate advisory groups and facilitate meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree (e.g., MSc, MPH) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in SAS, R, or similar software.
  • Experience with large administrative or survey data sets.
  • Knowledge of indicator development is preferred.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
