The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) invites applications for a Senior Research Assistant position within the Harmonic-AI Project, funded by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). This is a fixed-term, full-time position for up to 28 months, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative research in power electronics and renewable energy integration.
Requirements
– PhD degree in a relevant field
– At least 3 recent peer-reviewed journal publications pertinent to the project
– Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in power electronics laboratory work, including experimental testbed setup, data acquisition, and analysis
– Experience in the development and implementation of optimization algorithms for economic dispatch or renewable energy integration
– Proficiency in power flow, stability analysis, and unit commitment
– Demonstrated experience in preparing technical materials for media, web page management, and presenting at conferences and workshops
– Strong motivation to work collaboratively in an advanced research environment
