The University of Winnipeg invites applications for a Senior Research Assistant on a PAR-based project focused on school-based pedagogies to support student mental health and flourishing in K-12 settings.

Responsibilities include literature reviews, qualitative data work, and coordination with teacher-participants; remote work is available and applicants should be eligible to work in Canada.

Formación

• Graduate-level training in education, educational psychology, social sciences, or a related field.
• Experience with Participatory Action Research (PAR) or community-based research.
• Experience conducting literature reviews and organizing scholarly literature.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities in research settings.
• Strong oral and written communication for diverse audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead or co-lead biweekly research team meetings with agendas and action Items.
• Lead or co-lead meetings with teacher-participants to support discussion and collaborative decisions.
• Oversee literature review processes, organize literature, and mentor RAs in scoping reviews.
• Lead qualitative data analysis, coding, and interpretation with teacher-participants.
• Mentor RAs in research methods, data management, and ethics.
• Organize professional development sessions and teacher workshops translating findings into practice.
• Support dissemination through conferences, publications, podcasts and social media.
• Coordinate research activities with the PI to ensure progress and ethics compliance.
