Job summary

Epic Games is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer for the Fortnite Desktop team to enhance player experience on PC. You will work with other engineers to build and improve desktop platform support, focusing on rendering systems across diverse hardware and software configurations.

The role involves solving stability and performance issues, collaborating with GPU vendors, and contributing to cutting-edge rendering features in Unreal Engine for Fortnite.

Qualifications

Strong C++ knowledge and multi-threaded programming techniques.
Real-time rendering experience in games or computer graphics.
Experience with at least one graphics API (DirectX 12 preferred).
Experience with OS-level systems and Windows APIs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve stability and performance problems of Fortnite on a wide range of PC hardware configurations.
Identify solutions for device-specific CPU/GPU performance and compatibility issues and rendering performance.
Improve rendering systems and optimize stability and performance across various graphics APIs.
Collaborate with Epic teams to resolve technical issues and improve underlying technologies such as graphics drivers.
Monitor performance data and contribute to Fortnite-specific use cases in Unreal Engine.
