Job summary

RBC Adversary Emulation invites seasoned Red Team Operators and Penetration Testers to join a high- maturity team delivering scenario-driven engagements and offensive security research. You will work with experts on complex operations, access top tools, and participate in private team sessions to sharpen your edge in challenging environments.

Roles include leading engagements, developing new offensive capabilities, mentoring teammates, and shaping service offerings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cybersecurity with Red Team or pentest experience.
• Proficient in attacking Microsoft AD/Entra ID.
• Experience running social-engineering campaigns.
• Skilled at evading EDRs; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute Red Team operations and purple team exercises in production environments.
• Lead projects end-to-end from scoping to debriefs.
• Develop offensive capabilities including exploit development and C2 channels.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior teammates.

What’s the Opportunity?

RBC Adversary Emulation is hiring experienced Red Team Operators and Penetration Testers. We’re looking for professionals to join us in delivering scenario-driven Red Team operations, Purple Team exercises, and offensive security research targeting core and emerging business functions.

In this role, you’ll work alongside a highly skilled team of offensive and defensive security experts on complex operations. You’ll have access to industry-leading tools and training —including private, team-specific sessions delivered by top experts in the field— ensuring you’re always sharpening your edge in a high-maturity environment.

What Will You Do?

• Execute Red Team operations, Purple Team exercises, and hypothesis-led engagements in mature production environments.
• Lead projects end-to-end from scoping and proposal writing, through execution, reporting, and stakeholder debriefs.
• Develop offensive capabilities: exploit development, novel C2 channels, automation, and more.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Help evolve and improve team processes and service offerings.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must-Have

• 3+ years in cybersecurity, with Red Team or penetration testing experience
• Strong track record executing attacks against Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID
• Experience running social engineering campaigns
• Proficiency in evading EDRs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills:
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Strong technical report writing experience
• Deep understanding of offensive techniques, including:
  • OSINT collection and operationalization
  • Building and managing C2 infrastructure
  • Social engineering tactics
  • Exploitation across operating systems and applications
  • Lateral movement and privilege escalation in Windows AD, Entra ID, Windows OS, and macOS
  • Evasion techniques for AV and EDR
• One or multiple industry-recognized certifications: OSCP, OSWP, CRTO, etc.

Nice-to-Have

• AI Red Teaming experience
• Hardware hacking skills
• Experience in the financial sector
