Job summary

CCI Inc. is seeking a Senior Reclamation & Remediation Specialist to lead technical, regulatory, and business development efforts in British Columbia.

You will work with regulators, Indigenous communities, landowners, and multidisciplinary teams to address complex reclamation, remediation, closure, and environmental liability challenges. The role emphasizes client relationship management, strategic growth, and high-quality deliverables across preliminary site investigations, remediation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Agrology, Biology, Geology or related discipline.
• Professional designation in good standing such as P.Ag., P.Geo., P.Eng., RPBio, or equivalent in BC.
• 10+ years of progressive reclamation/remediation experience in BC.
• Experience with BCER regs, Dormancy and Shutdown Regulation, Pipeline Regulation, and related acts.
• Excellent communication, technical writing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development, client engagement, proposals, estimates, and pursuit strategy in BC.
• Provide senior technical leadership from project initiation through regulatory closure.
• Ensure regulatory submissions, reports, and compliance meet BC requirements.
• Manage dormant pipeline, decommissioning, and liability reduction programs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure safe, high-quality project delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to staff development.
