Job summary

NADG is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team in Toronto. The role focuses on leading sophisticated real estate and corporate transactional work, driving deals with minimal oversight and aligning legal risk with business objectives.

The successful candidate will bring 5–8 years of experience in real estate and corporate transactions, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a practical, commercially minded approach to legal advice within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Law degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Approximately 5–8 years of relevant legal experience.
Strong drafting, negotiation, deal management and leadership skills.
Exposure to corporate law, governance, financing, or commercial transactions is a significant asset.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex real estate transactions across Canada and the United States.
Draft, negotiate, and review purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, joint venture agreements, leases, financing documents, easements, servicing agreements, and related documents.
Support acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development projects, and asset management initiatives.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and practical solutions.
