Job summary

Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan is seeking a Specialist to provide specialized program and analytical support for Corporate Services, focusing on Real Estate Operations vendor governance, lease administration and corporate insurance across OTPP’s global real estate portfolio.

You will analyze contractual, financial, insurance and operational information, coordinate key program activities and develop recommendations to support informed management decisions, financial control and risk management.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, real estate, facilities management, finance or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in real estate operations, vendor management, contract administration or related corporate environment
• Demonstrated experience working independently with vendors, contracts, leases and financial information
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess information and develop recommendations
• Knowledge of vendor governance, lease administration, budgeting and financial processes within real estate or corporate services
• Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential financial and contractual information
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; exposure to vendor administration, contracts, leases, financial processes, reporting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Execute REO vendor governance processes monitoring contractual obligations, SLAs and renewals
• Analyze vendor performance, costs and terms; prepare management recommendations
• Coordinate procurement, contract renewal and vendor review activities with financial and performance analysis
• Administer lease requirements across global real estate portfolio; manage critical dates and renewal options
• Review lease and financial information; identify discrepancies and required actions
• Administer Corporate Insurance program activities including exposure data collection and claims support
• Analyze insurance information and renewal requirements; prepare options for management review
• Coordinate with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders to complete program requirements and renewals
• Develop and maintain reporting, governance, processes and controls for REO programs
• Analyze expenditures and variances to support budgeting and cost management
