• 6+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or corporate real estate.
• Proven track record of sourcing and closing complex real estate transactions.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling using Excel and experience with real estate databases and analytics tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a remote work environment.
• High degree of self-motivation, proactivity, and attention to detail.
• Experience with various property types (multifamily, commercial, industrial) is a plus.
• Familiarity with national real estate markets and deal-sourcing networks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify potential real estate acquisition opportunities, focusing on off-market and undervalued properties.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, site visits (when feasible), and risk assessment for potential acquisitions.
• Develop detailed financial models and pro forma analyses to evaluate the viability and profitability of investment opportunities.
• Negotiate purchase agreements and other relevant transaction documents with sellers, brokers, and legal counsel.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, developers, property owners, and other sources of deal flow across South Africa.
• Prepare comprehensive investment proposals and present findings and recommendations to the investment committee.
• Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting real estate acquisitions.
• Manage the acquisition pipeline effectively, ensuring timely progress and execution of deals.
• Collaborate seamlessly with internal legal, finance, and asset management teams in a remote setting.
• Continuously refine acquisition strategies based on market performance and evolving investment criteria.
