Job summary

Maarut is seeking a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist in Toronto, Ontario. The role involves planning and executing testing for large GUI and non-GUI systems, designing test plans, scripts and data, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with developers, business analysts and project managers to ensure quality, conduct performance and load testing, and contribute to release notes and user manuals.

Qualifications

• Experience developing automated test scripts and test data across large systems.
• Ability to design test plans and test cases for GUI and non-GUI components.
• Experience with functional, integration and regression testing across SDLC phases.

Responsibilities

• Provides advice on testing strategy, plans, tools and resources.
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments.
• Develops test scripts and executes them against components; collaborates with project teams.
• Executes functional, integration, system and regression tests; validates system behavior.
