Job summary

Cognizant in Toronto is seeking a hands-on Full Stack QA Automation Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and performance across backend and web applications. You will design and maintain automation frameworks, build API, UI, and E2E test suites, and integrate tests into CI/CD within a hybrid Toronto office model.

The role requires 6–8 years of testing experience, strong Java automation, and knowledge of Selenium/Playwright, API testing with Rest Assured and Postman, SQL, and Git.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of professional software testing and automation experience, ideally in trading or financial domains.
• Strong hands-on Java automation experience.
• Proficiency with Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Extensive experience with API testing tools including Rest Assured and Postman.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL for backend validation and Git for version control.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Agile development teams.
