Empire Life Insurance is seeking a QA Senior Automation Tester to join our IT Quality Assurance Team. You will develop automated test scripts for web apps, APIs, and other applications, while coordinating with developers, security, and network teams to ensure robust coverage.

The role demands 5+ years in test automation within banking/insurance, strong Selenium/Playwright and API testing experience, and a collaborative, fast-paced environment with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in test automation/software development in banking, insurance, or equivalent.
• 5+ years with Selenium/Playwright based test automation frameworks.
• 5+ years in Agile development environments.
• 5+ years with API REST test automation.
• 3+ years with Mobile automation (Appium).
• Experience with CI (GitHub Actions preferred) and version control (Git).
• 3+ years maintaining an existing test automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality test automation scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Contribute to automated testing with functional, behavioral and integration tests.
• Collaborate with internal dev, network and security teams to ensure robust test suites.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure resolution to improve coverage and execution.
• Research improvements, analyze findings and provide recommendations to management.
• Configure CI/CD pipeline test environments and integration tests.
• Train and onboard junior team members.
