Job summary

Infoya, a global IT solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer in Toronto to strengthen our data and BI validation capabilities. You will design automated tests for database, ETL, and data pipelines, and ensure data accuracy and performance across enterprise platforms.

Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, StarRocks, Tableau, and GCP, plus strong Python/SQL scripting and CI/CD expertise.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software quality engineering with database and ETL testing.
• Strong automated test development using Python, SQL.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, StarRocks.
• Hands-on with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
• Experience with Tableau and BI validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for databases, ETL, and data pipelines.
• Develop reusable test scripts using Python and SQL.
• Validate data integrity, reconciliation, and schema correctness across sources.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate dashboards and BI outputs in Tableau.
• Collaborate with Data/Cloud Engineers and Developers to troubleshoot data issues.
