Job summary

Citi is seeking a Lead / Senior QA Automation Engineer in Mississauga to elevate quality across automation and data-processing platforms. You will design and implement scalable automation frameworks, lead QA practices, and own quality outcomes.

The role collaborates with BAs, developers, and leadership and is hands-on technical leadership. Responsibilities include building automation for data pipelines, validating APIs and databases, and validating Tableau outputs.

Qualifications

5-10 years of QA experience with emphasis on test automation, ETL/data quality, and enterprise automation platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks; perform end-to-end QA validation across functional, regression, integration, and ETL testing.
Design, build, and maintain test automation for data pipelines, ETL workflows, automation solutions, and dashboards.
Develop and execute automated validation suites for RESTful APIs, microservices and database layers using SQL and NoSQL.
UI and API testing for web apps and services; ensure testability and observability with engineering partners.
Plan and execute load, stress, and endurance testing; analyze results and drive remediation with engineering.
Create detailed test plans, cases, estimates, regression tests, and test automation artifacts.
Translate BRDs/EVs into scalable, reusable test scenarios.
Validate data integrity in Oracle and SQL-based stores via complex queries and automated checks.
Validate Tableau outputs for accuracy and alignment with source data.
