Job summary

nesto is hiring a Senior QA Automation Developer to join a remote-first team across Canada. You will architect and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, contributing to UI and API testing, and collaborating with developers and product managers to refine requirements.

You will drive quality through AI-enabled automation, multi-tenant testing scenarios, and scalable test architectures while advancing CI/CD practices and test tooling across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience testing SaaS or cloud apps.
• 2+ years hands-on automation with Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Automation-first mindset prioritizing automated coverage and CI/CD.
• Full-stack testing across UI and API with Postman for API validation.
• Experience with scalable test architectures (Page Object Model, data factories).
• Agile fluent with test management/reporting tools (Allure TestOps).
• Nice-to-have: TypeScript and/or Go; MySQL or similar.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers across the SDLC.
• Drive UI and API test coverage using monitoring signals and feedback.
• Leverage AI to accelerate QA automation tasks.
• Test configuration-driven or multi-tenant products across clients/environments.
• Contribute to shared tooling and standards to speed up automation.
• Own broader quality outcomes and improve processes and documentation.
• Stay updated with new tools and testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with Staff QA Automation Developers to improve QA practices across the organization.
• Work with product managers to define comprehensive test plans from design documents.
