Job summary

Luxoft in Toronto is seeking a Python Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and ETL data pipelines. You will build backend services and RESTful APIs, and deploy with Kubernetes in a cloud environment.

You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to CI/CD, testing, and documentation to ensure production-ready solutions. Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and GitHub Actions is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong Python 3.x fundamentals and OO programming.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native applications.
• Kubernetes hands-on experience.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider: AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience creating and maintaining ETL data pipelines.
• API design and integration experience.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions.

The role includes API integrations, Kubernetes-based deployments, and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.This role is for subcontractors.
