Marberg Staffing seeks a Senior Procurement Specialist for a provincial government client in downtown Toronto. This temporary role runs ASAP to 2026-12-18 with potential extension, onsite 100% in the client office, 36.25 hours/week, from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm with unpaid lunch.

Target compensation is from $70 to $80 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will plan and deliver procurement activities, prepare tenders and RFPs, negotiate terms, review contracts, monitor supplier

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of relevant procurement experience.
• Experience with IT, Maintenance & Repair, Operations and General Corporate Services procurement briefs is an asset.
• Public-sector procurement knowledge and compliance requirements.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver procurement activities for diverse range of commodities, services, and contracts, working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, consultants, and contractors to ensure procurement activities are transparent, compliant, timely, and cost-effective.
• Prepare tenders, RFPs, quotations, and proposal specifications.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, and scopes of work with suppliers and contractors.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Monitor supplier performance, financial requirements, and contractual compliance.
