Job summary

CareerJoy is seeking a Senior Public Sector Bilingual Executive Coach & Facilitator (Associate) to partner with Canadian public sector leaders. You will provide high-level executive coaching and facilitate leadership workshops in both French and English, across virtual and in-person settings.

You will work with senior Directors and executives, applying practical wisdom to leadership development, employment equity, or change management initiatives in a national scope.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and verbal).
• ICF certification current and valid.
• Significant leadership experience in federal public service roles.
• Proven ability to facilitate high-level content for diverse groups.
• 5+ years in project-based leadership development or change management.

The Role: Strategic Coach & Facilitator

We are seeking a bilingual associate who embodies a sophisticated Executive Presence and possesses the agility to partner with senior leaders across a broad spectrum of organizational challenges. As a high-level peer to Directors, Executive Directors, and Directors General, you will facilitate breakthroughs in leadership intelligence, helping them navigate the complexities of modern governance with composure and strategic foresight.

Whether you are coaching an individual executive on their personal leadership impact or facilitating a deep-dive workshop with their team on culture and performance, your role is to provide the high-level perspective and practical wisdom necessary to empower the Public Sector at every level.

What You’ll Do

Executive Coaching & Leadership Advisory

• Deliver high-impact one-on-one coaching focused on leadership development, strategic initiatives, and navigating complex bureaucratic landscapes.
• Apply practical wisdom and humanistic skill sets to support the advancement of clients' professional development.

Expert Facilitation & Workshop Delivery

• Lead professionally curated and tailored workshops designed to empower Public Sector teams in both French and English.
• Participate in professional "meet and greet" sessions with potential clients to establish immediate rapport, assess leadership needs, and demonstrate strategic fit.
• Facilitate engaging sessions across both virtual platforms (Teams/Zoom) and in-person settings as required.
• Captivate and deeply engage learners by leveraging expert storytelling to translate complex data, concepts, and organizational needs into compelling workshop narratives.
• Collaborate closely with the internal core team to ensure the highest standards of competence, alignment, and excellence in every delivery.

Position Requirements

The "Must Haves":

• Bilingualism: Full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in both French and English.
• ICF Certification: You must hold a current certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
• Public Sector Leadership: Significant experience as a former or transitioning federal public servant at the Director, Executive Director, or Director General level.
• Facilitation Excellence: Demonstrated experience leading and facilitating high-level content to diverse stakeholder groups.
• Consultative Experience: 5+ years in project-based roles focused on leadership development, employment equity, or change management.

The Nice to Haves:

• Assessment Certifications: Certification in tools such as EQi2.0, DiSC/Insights, or 360 multi-rater survey debriefing.
• HR Designations: Current or in-progress HRPA designation (CHRP, CHRL, CHRE).
