Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Senior Property Manager to supervise the team responsible for the daily operations and financial management of large portfolios. You’ll lead tenant relations, coordinate with property owners, and prepare timely, accurate reports.

You’ll develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses, forecast complex plans, and produce monthly performance summaries. You’ll also assist with emergency recovery programs and legally notices as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or combination of experience and education.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets and coordinate across disciplines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and related Office tools.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Property Management Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team responsible for all operational and financial activities of large portfolios of properties.

What You’ll Do:
  • Respond to high profile tenant needs and issues.
  • Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for large operating and capital expenses. Forecast complex management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
  • Help create advanced programs that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.
  • Prepare and approve all required legal notices. Recommend and coordinate legal action as necessary.
  • Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is on time.
