Position Summary

Primaris REIT is hiring a dedicated Senior Property Administrator to join our team at Oshawa Shopping Centre, Oshawa, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience with Property Accounting software (Yardi preferred), a passion for accurate data reporting, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

1. Manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial transactions, including accounts receivable, collections, and rent calculations.
2. Collaborate with the Toronto Head Office on financial reporting and lease administration.
3. Prepare accruals, update tenant information, and manage rent notices.
4. Input and reconcile rent and specialty leasing agreements in ERP systems.
5. Assist with budgeting, sales reports, and tenant documentation.
6. Address tenant operating cost issues and liaise with Property Accountants.
7. Supervise one direct report, conducting performance reviews, coaching, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years property administration experience.
• 1+ year supervising or mentoring staff.
• Experience in Real Estate or Property Management is an asset.
• Proficiency with property accounting software (Yardi preferred) and Microsoft Office.
