Job summary

Crown Property Management Inc. is seeking a Manager, Property Accounting in Toronto to lead the property's accounting team and provide reliable, timely financial reporting for properties managed by Crown.

You will supervise the property accounting staff and collaborate with property managers to support efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate holds a accounting degree, CPA, and 5–10 years of real estate accounting experience, including Yardi proficiency and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Accounting; CPA designation.
• Must maintain Canadian CPA designation in good standing.
• 5–10 years accounting experience within a commercial real estate company.
• Experience supervising junior or senior level accountants.
• Experience with Yardi required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Superior Returns to our Investors through Accurate and Reliable Financial Information.
• Ensure monthly financial reports are delivered accurately and timely.
• Assist with auditors requirements.
• Review of annual budgets and assist Property Managers in completion of annual budgets.
• Assist in the accounting of property acquisitions and dispositions, due diligence and post closing adjustments.
• Continually monitor and review accounting processes and procedures to improve internal controls.
• Support the property administration staff in the financial management of their properties.
