About the Role

As a Senior Property Accountant, you will manage full-cycle accounting for a diverse real estate portfolio, including residential, development projects, and commercial assets. Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and operational support, working closely with finance and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple properties and project types
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports
• Handle CAM reconciliations, budgeting, and year-end documentation
• Oversee AR/AP, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
• Assist with lender and investor reporting
• Utilize Yardi Voyager for data entry, reporting, and system maintenance
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency
• Support process improvement initiatives within accounting

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance
• Strong knowledge of both stabilized assets and development accounting
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• CPA designation is an asset but not mandatory
