About the Opportunity

• Handle full monthly accounting cycle for commercial properties, including journal entries, reconciliations, and HST remittances.
• Maintain fixed assets and post amortization entries.
• Prepare monthly operating cost and tax recovery estimates; manage tenant recovery setups in Yardi.
• Perform recovery calculations, analyze ratios, and report shortfalls.
• Review financial statements and conduct variance and balance sheet account analyses.
• Ensure timely reporting in line with accounting policies and procedures.
• Complete year-end CAM and tax recovery reconciliations and billings.
• Support Joint Venture activities with cash flow analysis and reporting.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Assist with audits, appraisals, tax appeals, and ad hoc projects.

About You

• University degree or College diploma in Accounting or related field.
• Accounting designation or enrolled in an Accounting designation program.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Commercial property accounting or in the real estate industry.

Salary Range
$85,000 - $95,000/year
