This position is for a Senior Property Accountant based out of our downtown Toronto offices.

About the role

We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our team. You are a professional property accountant ready to take the next step working with a commercial portfolio. You thrive under deadlines, provide strong financial reporting for your assigned properties, identify issues, and offer analysis on monthly reports. You continually seek opportunities for process improvements and enjoy sharing your knowledge through training new accountants.

Responsibilities include:

• Successfully completing monthly reporting and assisting your Accounting Manager in audit processes
• Coordinating the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of dynamic property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry
• Ability and experience working to financial deadlines
• Post-secondary education in accounting
• CPA designation completed or in progress (asset)
• Working knowledge of Yardi software
• Proficiency in French is a strong asset
• Hybrid work model
