Job summary

OXARO Inc. in Ottawa, ON is seeking an experienced project manager for a 2‑year on-site assignment. The role requires Secret & Controlled Goods clearance and involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing sustainment and BCA activities.

Responsibilities include developing SBCA work plans, presenting findings to senior decision‑makers, and delivering regular progress reports to stakeholders and the Technical Authority. A university degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Secret & Controlled Goods required.
• 8+ years of experience managing sustainment planning or BCA-related projects.
• Experience managing at least two sustainment planning or BCA-related projects, each lasting a minimum of six months.
• Experience presenting sustainment planning findings to senior decision-makers.
• Relevant professional certification.
• Education: University degree, or college or CEGEP diploma or certificate, in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project management activities, including financial, planning, and contracting aspects.
• Prepare formal work breakdown structures and compliance charts.
• Plan and coordinate the activities of project personnel, internal customers, contractors, and other support providers.
• Support the development of project-specific Sustainment Business Case Analyses and associated decision-support products.
• Develop SBCA work plans identifying scope, assumptions, analytical approach, schedule, governance touchpoints, decision-points, risks, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Identify schedule, risk, and dependency considerations across all SBCA phases.
• Deliver briefings on project progress and concerns.
• Report project progress on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle.
• Ensure management staff are provided with timely and accurate project information and status updates.
• Prepare executive-level briefing decks and governance briefing notes to support decision-making.
• Coordinate governance and decision-point identification throughout the project life cycle.
• Produce monthly status reports and task reports to support Technical Authority oversight.
