Job summary

Adecco Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in Ottawa, ON to lead business case analyses and sustainment planning efforts. You will engage stakeholders, gather requirements, and advise senior leadership on strategic initiatives aimed at improving project outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting research, preparing reports and presentations, and ensuring sustained alignment of solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in sustainment planning or Business Case Analysis projects (within last 10 years).
• Led at least two sustainment planning or BCA projects lasting six months or more.
• Experience presenting findings to senior decision-makers.
• Strong business analysis, research and stakeholder management skills.

This role is ideal for experienced professionals with expertise in Business Case Analysis (BCA), sustainment planning, stakeholder engagement, business requirements analysis, and strategic consulting.

Location: Ottawa, ON

• Pay Rate: $100, 000 - $125, 000/year
• Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Job type: Temporary 2 years| Full-time

Business Analysis & Strategic Advisory

• Advise senior management on issues impacting project and business objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering

• Consult with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Ensure requirements are captured and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Research, Reporting & Presentations

• Conduct research, analysis, and business case assessments.
• Prepare reports, findings, and strategic recommendations.
• Present project updates, findings, and sustainment planning recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience within the last 10 years managing sustainment planning or Business Case Analysis (BCA) projects.
• Experience leading at least two sustainment planning or BCA-related projects lasting six months or longer.
• Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior decision-makers.
• Strong business analysis, research, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing abilities.
• Current Secret Security Clearance, or held a Secret Clearance within the last 6 months.
• Master's degree (MBA or Project Management) is considered an asset.
• PMP certification is considered an asset.
• Legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
