Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Nova Scotia to independently lead highly complex customer projects, EPC and engineered-to-order initiatives from inception to delivery.

You will coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, interfacing with key customers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project success. The role demands extensive experience in electrical industrial systems, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of electrical industrial systems, rotating equipment, motors, generators, power electronics, and system integration.
• Advanced knowledge of industry standards and specifications (NEMA, IEC, IEEE, UL).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, controls, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with ERP systems and project management tools (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Independently lead multiple concurrent projects, programs, or strategic customer orders from hand off through final closeout.
• Serve as primary customer interface and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Establish execution strategies, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead risk reviews, change management, and project closeout activities.
• Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and quality teams.
• Manage project financials including forecasts, margins, and cash flow.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and technical risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.
