Job summary

CBCL Limited is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our Electrical Utilities & Renewables team in Atlantic Canada. You will manage complex HV projects, mentor engineers, and shape standards for substation, transmission, and renewable developments.

The role requires a P.Eng. registration or eligibility, 10+ years of experience, and strong proposal/written communication skills. Travel to client sites and offices across Atlantic Canada may be required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering and licensure or eligibility for licensure as a P.Eng.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary projects from feasibility through detailed design and implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers and technologists to foster development and growth.
• Prepare reports, design drawings, equipment specs, tender documents, and cost estimates.
• Provide technical reviews across teams to ensure efficient project execution and technical excellence.
• Incorporate safety standards and codes into designs and manage risk.
• Lead or support client relationships, proposals, and growth of electrical services.
• Perform site reviews and oversee construction activities to ensure project success.
