Job summary

WSP's Land Development & Municipal Engineering team in Langley or Vancouver, BC, seeks a Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects from concept through construction. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risks; build strong client relationships with municipal stakeholders; and mentor junior professionals.

A Civil Engineering degree and a P.Eng. with EGBC are required, with 8+ years of progressive municipal experience delivering water, sewer, drainage, and land

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering (ABET/ingeniería acreditada).
• P.Eng. designation with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
• Minimum 8 years of progressive municipal infrastructure and land development experience.
• Experience in design and delivery of water, wastewater, drainage, and land development projects.
• Strong project management with ability to manage financial performance and project risks.
• Experience with municipal approval processes and coordinating with regulatory authorities.
• Established client relationship management skills and excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal infrastructure and land development projects from concept through construction.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets and resources to meet client expectations and business objectives.
• Guide planning and design of civil roadworks, water distribution, sewers, drainage and stormwater facilities.
• Build relationships with clients, municipal stakeholders and approving authorities to advance approvals.
• Drive business growth through proposals, client engagement and business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior professionals to foster technical excellence.
• Contribute to resilient communities through delivery of impactful infrastructure projects.
