Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking a Project Manager for Langley or Vancouver, BC to lead municipal infrastructure and land development projects through full lifecycle.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and client relations; mentor junior staff and contribute to business development initiatives.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, a P.Eng. designation, and a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in related projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• P.Eng. designation with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure and land development engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in the design and delivery of water, wastewater, drainage, and land development projects.
• Strong project management experience with a proven ability to manage financial performance and project risks.
• Experience working with municipal approval processes and coordinating with regulatory authorities.
• Established client relationship management skills with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Passion for mentoring team members and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of municipal infrastructure and land development projects from concept through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations and business objectives.
• Guide the planning and design of civil roadworks, water distribution systems, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, and stormwater management facilities.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, municipal stakeholders, and approving authorities to advance project approvals and outcomes.
• Drive business growth through proposal preparation, client engagement, and business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
• Mentor and support the growth of junior professionals, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to building resilient communities through the delivery of impactful infrastructure projects.
