Job summary

WSP in Canada seeks a Civil Engineer to join the Municipal and Infrastructure team in the Lower Mainland, based in Langley or Vancouver. You will lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, coordinating with clients and regulators to deliver innovative solutions from planning through construction.

You'll contribute to proposals, support project lifecycles with technical guidance, and help build sustainable communities in British Columbia,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Experience in the design of water, wastewater, stormwater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting project management, design coordination, and construction activities.
  • MMCD Contract Administration accreditation is considered an asset.
  • Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and municipal infrastructure modelling software is an asset.
  • Strong client-facing communication and collaboration with municipal governments, developers, consultants, and contractors.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design of water, wastewater, stormwater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting project management, design coordination, and construction activities.
  • Knowledge of construction contract administration practices; MMCD Contract Administration accreditation is considered an asset.
  • Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and municipal infrastructure modelling software is an asset.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with municipal governments, developers, consultants, and contractors.

  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
  • MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
  • NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
