SSA Recruitment (CA) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead the mechanical scope on a major ICI project in Ottawa. This on-site leadership role covers HVAC, plumbing and controls from mobilization through completion.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, coordinate site activities and act as the company representative with clients and stakeholders, ensuring safety and on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical project management within ICI construction.
• Experience with large-scale industrial/commercial facilities.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing and controls background.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders.
• Available to start Oct/Nov ahead of project kickoff.

Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Our client, a well-established mechanical contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead the mechanical scope on a major ICI project in the Ottawa region. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role overseeing HVAC, plumbing, and controls delivery from mobilization through completion.

Key Details

• Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000, plus bonus structure
• Location: Ottawa - full-time on site

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading mechanical project management for a large-scale ICI build
• Overseeing HVAC, plumbing, and controls scope from planning through completion
• Managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and site coordination
• Acting as a key representative of the company with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Driving quality, safety, and on-time/on-budget delivery across the mechanical scope

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical project management within ICI construction
• Direct experience with large-scale, high-complexity industrial/commercial facilities strongly preferred
• Strong background across HVAC, plumbing, and controls
• Excellent communication skills — comfortable representing the company with clients and stakeholders
• Available to start October/November ahead of the January project kickoff
• Willing and able to work on site in Ottawa full time
