Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Our Edmonton client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contract position in Edmonton. The role involves managing multiple IT projects, developing project documentation, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple small to large IT projects.
• Develop project charters, detailed project plans, business cases, and other project management documentation following the owner’s System Delivery Life Cycle methodology.
• Monitor, report on, and control assigned projects.
• Ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years managing IT projects.
• Experience managing IT projects ranging from $250,000 to $5,000,000.
• Proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects.
• Excellent project documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills with all management levels.
• Ability to work within standard procedures and methodologies.
• Experience in scope and change management.
• Ability to manage projects mid-stream and deliver successfully.
• Proven ability to handle multiple initiatives and complex financials.
• PMP or PMI certification is an asset.
• Experience with network, server, software, cloud upgrades, cybersecurity, or physical security projects.
• Broad skillset to manage diverse project types.
• Utility knowledge is a plus.
