Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our Practices team. The role focuses on leading end-to-end delivery for complex external projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and maintaining strong client partnerships.

A PMP is a strong asset, with an undergraduate degree in engineering or related fields and a deep understanding of professional services operations. Hybrid work is available across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP designation is a strong asset.
• Deep understanding of how professional services firms operate including pricing, winning work, project delivery, billing and payment, resource management, and project financial reporting.
• Exceptional ability to present complex project performance data clearly and facilitate difficult conversations regarding project health.

Responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage complex, multi-disciplinary external client projects from proposals to completion within scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Manage Project Teams: Act as the primary bridge across disciplines to align workflows and maintain momentum.
• Manage Client and Project Team Communications: Serve as the central contact for client leadership, delivering updates and managing scope changes.
• Mitigate Risk and Monitor Financials: Identify risks, forecast budgets, and implement mitigation to protect margins.
• Root Cause Analysis: Partner with Discipline Leads to analyze variances and co-create corrective actions.
• Direct Intervention: Support higher-risk projects to mitigate losses and ensure reserves.
