Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Ontario to lead transformative transportation projects within the Highways group. You will manage MTO design assignments, shape P3 and alternative delivery strategies, and drive milestones with multidisciplinary teams.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and quality while collaborating with clients and agencies to deliver safe, efficient mobility solutions for Ontario communities. This role offers growth within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada with Civil Engineering degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex transportation projects (MTO highway design, P3 delivery).
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage scope, schedule and budgets.
• Expertise with project scheduling tools and contract documentation.
• Passion for shaping sustainable transportation solutions that make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highway design solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects in Ontario.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of MTO projects and ensure technical excellence.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality to meet client milestones.
• Collaborate with clients, agencies, and partners to align goals with community needs.
• Drive proposal development and cost estimates for high-profile projects including P3 models.
• Mentor engineers and coordinators to promote knowledge transfer.

As a Senior Project Manager in our Transportation – Highways group, you’ll lead complex MTO design assignments, including highway components of major P3 and alternative delivery projects. Your expertise will drive solutions that enhance mobility and connect communities.

• Drive proposal development and cost estimates for high-profile projects, including P3 and alternative delivery models
• Mentor and guide engineers and coordinators, fostering knowledge transfer and professional growth

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $147,500 – $195,400
MB & ON: $134,600 – $184,600
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $133,200 – $176,900
