WSP Ontario is seeking a Senior Highway Designer/Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams and shape mobility for generations across Thunder Bay or Sudbury. You will influence decisions and ensure excellence on projects defining Ontario's roads.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, delivering multi‑lane freeways and advanced transportation systems, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with clients to build lasting relationships.

Formación

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering and professional registration.
• 10–20+ years of highway/roadway design experience, MTO projects preferred.
• P.Eng or CET/Technologist designation.
• Proven in Design‑Build/P3 projects and Ontario environmental standards.
• Familiarity with OpenRoads, MTO CPS/HICO, and BIM assets.
• Strong leadership, communication and multi‑project management abilities.

• Drive proposal development and contribute to WSP’s “Future Ready” initiatives
• Review and validate designs, ensuring compliance and excellence
• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation

The skills that set you apart

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
• 10–20+ years of experience in highway/roadway design (MTO projects preferred)
• P. Eng or Certified Engineering Technician/Technologist designation
• Proven experience with Design‑Build/P3 projects
• Deep knowledge of Ontario environmental standards and design manuals
• Familiarity with OpenRoads, MTO CPS/HICO, and BIM (assets)
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:$122 900 - $162 800
MB & ON:$112 100 - $154 400
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC:$111 000 - $147 400
