Job summary

WSP in Ontario seeks a Director to lead its MTO Delivery Team, delivering transformative highway design projects and shaping delivery via P3 and alternative models. You will manage complex programs and guide multidisciplinary teams to achieve milestones with a focus on quality and sustainability.

You bring a Canadian PE with a Civil Engineering degree and 15+ years of highway project leadership. This role offers high impact, collaboration across disciplines, and influence on major transportation

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree and Canadian PE designation preferred.
• 15+ years managing complex highway projects with MTO or P3 delivery.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with budgets, schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end highway design project management for large MTO projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate across engineering disciplines.
• Drive planning and execution for P3 and alternative delivery models.
• Oversee quality assurance and risk mitigation to meet client expectations.
• Champion design and delivery innovations to improve performance and sustainability.
• Build strong client relationships and represent WSP as a trusted advisor.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Professional Engineer designation in Canada (Ontario preferred) with a Civil Engineering degree.
• 15 years of experience managing complex highway projects, including MTO and P3 delivery models.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Expertise in contract documentation, proposal development, and strategic project planning.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and advanced project management tools.
• A visionary mindset with adaptability to thrive in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $166600 - $223 800
MB & ON: $152 000 – $212 200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $150400 - $202 600
