Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior project leader to guide government, institutional, and defense construction programs in Ontario. You will drive preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients, partners, and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

This role demands deep experience with federal procurement, risk management, and security clearances, along with willingness to travel across Ontario to project sites.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of progressive experience leading complex construction projects in government/institutional sectors.
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• P.Eng., PMP, Gold Seal, or equivalent considered an asset.
• Experience with federal procurement processes and public-sector project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout.
• Support pursuits, client relationship management, proposals, and strategic capture planning.
• Partner with estimating, design, and operations to develop project execution strategies.
• Develop and execute project strategies aligned with client objectives and contractual/financial targets.
• Mentor senior project leaders and support succession planning.
